Major Mongolia was awarded the Rio Tinto Growth & Innovation Group Award for their successful seismic drilling program.
This award recognized Major Drilling’s safe and productive execution of the initial seismic holes. The seismic drilling program is critical to the success of the Oyu Tolgoi block caving program. By continually monitoring the production process, the mining team will be able to maintain safe and efficient operations. This program is unique within Mongolia and is pioneering technology for the mining industry. The crews working on this project have demonstrated a great commitment and capability towards helping the client reach this outcome.
